I honestly believe that you will not find a striper guide who is more dedicated to your fishing trip than I am. Fishing is a true passion of mine. A passion in which I have made a business. In order to feed my family and pay my bills. I must operate in a manner that will make you my repeat client. I have no retirement check. I did not grow up with a lot of money. And I was not given or handed down anything thing to get me started in the fishing business. Every single thing I have learned and acquired. Has came from my own hard work and dedication. You will NEVER find me acting in an unprofessional manner. You can rest assure that you, your friends, your family, and your children will be treated with nothing but respect and professionalism.
NOTICE: Effective January 1, 2010, all fishing guides on Lake Texoma must have a Merchant Mariner Credential issued by the United States Coast Guard.
I am fully licensed and insured to guide on Lake Texoma. This goes beyond personal liability insurance on the boat. It also goes beyond the state guide license that can be purchased over the counter for about a hundred bucks with ZERO requirements. Although I do carry the state mandated Fishing Guide License for the states of Texas and Oklahoma. I am also U.S. Coast Guard Certified.
What does all of this Coast Guard stuff mean to you??? It means that I meet (exceed) the insurance requirements to guide on Lake Texoma. It means that your guide is First Aid, CPR, and Boater Safety certified. It means that I have passed all physical and medical tests required by the United States Coast Guard. It means that I am drug free and subject to random testing at anytime by the U.S. Coast Guard. It means that the vessel you are fishing in carries all of the safety equipment required by the U.S. Coast Guard. Most importantly. It means that if/when you get checked while on the water. No fines will be issued. You will NOT be escorted off of the water. And you have made an informed decision on who you choose for your Lake Texoma Striper Guide. Getting a United States Coast Guard license is not easy. It takes extensive time, money , and effort. I am proud to have mine. Be sure that the guide you choose has his.
