Striper Fishing Report 1/28/18

Beautiful day. Light winds and sunny weather. We started out slow rolling 5" swimbaits and bouncing from spot to spot. Mostly main lake structure 18-30ft. We picked a few from each spot but definitely not as many as we were hoping for. I found some fish out deeper 30-40ft but only picked at one every now and then. I knew we should have been catching more but couldn't figure out why. I downsized my baits and it instantly did the trick. Same 1 oz head but downsized baits to a 4inch swimbaits. Bingo!! We finished with a nice limit of Stripers and some happy repeat clients.
